This course will enable students to benefit from the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the work required by ICT Technicians/Specialists. ICT Specialist is a necessary job position and represents the first point of contact for first level technical support.

Curricula

The course is divided into 6 Chapters:

Chapter 1: PC Troubleshooting and PC Installation (Modules 1,2,3,4,5,6);

Chapter 2: Physical Installation and Configuration of LAN and Telephone networks (Modules 7,8,9);

Chapter 3: Physical installation and configuration of Alarm systems (Modules 10,11,12);

Chapter 4: Physical installation and configuration of CCTV and IP surveillance systems (Modules 13,14,15);

Chapter 5: Basic knowledge of Systems Administration with Windows Server and MS SQL Server (Modules 16,17,18,19,20);

Chapter 6: Course Evaluation (Module 21).

The course is intended for individuals who have basic knowledge of computer use and who will start a career in ICT, either by being employed as an ICT Technician/Specialist or by using the knowledge and skills gained to start a business. small business of technical support in the field of ICT. Typical students who take part in this course are aged 15 and over, and who wish to start a career in ICT. Other typical students are university level students who lack the practical side of doing things and who also have goals for career advancement in the future.
• Each session consists of interactive discussions, multimedia presentations, and hands-on activities. • Role-playing exercises and scenario-based simulations to reinforce learning. • Guest speakers or experts invited to share real-world experiences and insights. • Collaborative projects and group assignments to promote teamwork and problem-solving skills. • Regular assessments and progress tracking throughout the course.
