6 Weeks (12 Modules, 2 days per week, each class 2 hours long)

The purpose of this training is to teach an easy way to try out how to build, publish and maintain your first website and then other websites through a platform known as WordPress. Currently, more than 64% of websites are being created with this platform. The training is organized in a combined form between the theoretical and the practical part. The training is dedicated to people who are enthusiastic about learning how to build websites using the WordPress platform. Building websites with WordPress is a way that allows you to take advantage of the almost endless possibilities and options it offers. Participants who are suitable for this course are not only those who have programming knowledge, motivation and interest to learn building websites with this platform is enough. The purpose of this WordPress course is to provide participants with the necessary skills to create and operate effectively.

Introduction, CMS, WordPress, Dashboard, Themes, WYSIWYG, Posts, Pages, Categories, Widgets, Plugins, Web Forms, Project.

Module 1 – What is a domain, hosting and how to register and configure the domain. Module 2 – WordPress and an overview about WordPress. Module 3 – WordPress dashboard, use of templates (themes) Module 4 – Creating pages, editing, publishing and deleting them with classic Editor and Elementor. Module 5 – Creating posts, editing, publishing and deleting them. Module 6 - Categories, how to use categories Module 7 – Widgets and the use of widgets Module 8 - Plugins - what they are and why they are necessary, as well as the use of different plugins. Module 9 – Creating pages with ELEMENTOR. Module 10 – Configuring email from the web. Forms Module 11 – Completing the web page with data, placing photos and videos. Module 12 – Website Finalization and Publishing. Certificate Ceremony and Graduation Celebration

Certificate of Completion Minimum criteria: 1. Course attendance – 80%. 2. Evaluation - 20%

Burim Berisha is a pragmatic coach and determined that all participants create concrete skills. He has considerable experience as a systems engineer and in management hardware and software projects that require analysis, design, implementation, testing and supervision. Burimi is a Microsoft certified trainer and has certifications for various ICT sectors (Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, and Microsoft Certified System Administrator). Burimi holds the qualification as a Graduated Engineer at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Information Technology and a Master's degree Science in Telecommunication. He has 29 years of experience in the ICT sector in Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia, in the design and implementation of ICT infrastructure for the private sector and public institutions, such as the European Commission, Tax Administration, Customs, Ministry of various, financial institutions, and educational institutions.
